Regretfully, the INBLF Board of Directors has determined that the Miami Black Tie Weekend, scheduled for November 5-8, 2020, must be cancelled, due to all the uncertainties and difficulties engendered by the COVID-19 crisis now and in the coming months. In the new normal world in which we all now live, our team will explore holding some of the programs and meetings (both business and social) virtually. So save those dates and watch for more information coming this summer and fall as we plan INBLF’s First Virtual Black Tie Event.

Evening: Reception, hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

6th November 2020
First Speaker: Gov. Ron Desantis, Senator Bill Nelson, or Gov. Jeb Bush.
Second Speaker: On the importance of Miami in international commerce, or, development of an international city. Candidates are David Martin (Pauline to make the ask), Jorge Perez and Steven Ross.
Third Speaker: David Lawrence or David Beckham.
Optional lunch at Joe’s Stone Crabs. Two buses will be required.
Optional afternoon events on Friday.

7th November 2020
First Speaker: Judicial panel of Darren Gayles and one other federal judge; two circuit judges, one of whom is Jennifer Bailey. Amber to make the ask as to the circuit judges. Atara will ask Judge Gayles. Other alternates are Retired Fl. S. Ct. Justice Fred Lewis or Justice Jorge Labarga. If we are at Labarga, Jonathan will make the ask.
Second Program: William Berenson on the importance of social media to lawyers.
Third Program: Computer security and insurance coverage.
Fourth Program: Practice Group Meetings. Atara to head immigration; Amber to head Family Law. Jonathan to meet with litigation practice group. Barry to head workers comp if we have enough registered. Jeff to head up Real Estate and Land Use.
Fifth Program: Lunch by the pool in area reserved for INBLF.
Night: Black Tie Dinner. Speakers to invite Jeff Bezos, Gloria Estefan.
