Overview
Rackham is an experienced patent practitioner with significant expertise in software, including programming languages, machine learning, cloud computing, networking, workflow automation, user interfaces, education software, and social media technologies. His strong technical background and prior legal and industry experience enable him to provide practical counsel to L&A’s diverse client base.
Immediately prior to joining the firm, Rackham was a Patent Attorney at a Silicon Valley-based intellectual property law firm, where he worked closely with in-house counsel to craft IP strategies that meet business objectives and maximize portfolio values.
Rackham’s technology industry experience includes work as a Software Engineer at Western Union Payment Services, where he designed and implemented back-end business logic, security features, and user interfaces for online bill payment systems. He also worked as a Systems Analyst at biotech company InterMune, Inc., where he researched, installed, tested and supported software for the company’s core business groups.
