Franchise Alert: Updating Disclosure Documents to Reflect System Changes During the Pandemic

U.S. franchisors are required, under federal and state laws, to update their Franchise Disclosure Documents when material changes have occurred in the system.  Some system modifications that many franchisors have made in response to the pandemic can trigger the need to update several different FDD provisions, and to seek amended registration in registration states.
